"Hope the Flowers’ was initially created as a individual project by Hon - Narongrit Ittipolnavakul (Guitarist) and it is currently the instrumental, post-rock band from Bangkok, Thailand.
We gathered to perform live shows and create our own songs by the concept of powerful rhythms with emotionally touching melodies.
We intent in the elegance of Asian style and also build an emotional atmosphere in all of the songs with a fascinating concept as a short cinematography.

In 2013, Hon Narongrit arranged and recorded all the instruments by himself in the simple form of bedroom studio. His work pieces were released as the EP.1 composing of 4 songs and sold at Noise Market for the first time.
That was the beginning of finding more members to perform live shows. We have gotten Arm - Wasin Wainiya (Keyboardist), together with Aon - Eakaphat Phanmuang (Guitarist), Pop - Teerarat Boonthum (Bassist), and My - Onvipa Tivutanont (Drummer) as the first line up of our band.

In 2014, Hope the Flowers began to make a song of the indie movie called ‘Mary is Happy, Marry is Happy’. The title of this song is ‘I’m Sorry to Say’ and it had been gotten lots of interests from listeners.
This song was eventually used as a movie soundtrack which also was clinched a nomination of Suphannahong. This is the origin of making our first album called ‘Nature of Everything’ which debuted at Nong Taprachan store for the first time.

After that, there was a change of our members during 2014. The new members were Birdy - Charan Tonsuwannarat (Guitarist) and Montol Krasaesom (Bassist) who took this position instead of the previous ones.

And again, we changed our members in 2015. Si - Sirichai Chanmanklakul (Drummer) was an ex-drummer of the band called ’Inspirative’, together with Guide - Chananan Jantorn (Guitarist) and Art - Nanatz Naknawa (Bassist) as new members.
We started to released CDs of the single called ‘Into the Parallel’ which composed of 2 versions and we had HSH for another remix version.
Fortunately, the album ‘Nature of Everything’ was clinched a nomination in branch of Best Instrumental Music and Best Recording of Kom Chad Luek Award 2015.

In 2017, we started making the 2nd album called ‘I Miss You’ which were distributed in 2 countries, Thailand and Japan, by Friend of Mine Record and Newlights Production.
We also changed the members again, Bond -Panuwit Naksuppamit (Bassist) and First - Tiyaphan Srikulmontri (Drummer) who participated in recording this album as well.
Surprisingly, we had got an opportunity to promote this album in Taiwan where were in Taipei, Tainan, Taichung and Kaohsiung.
Furthermore, it was an honour to have us on the opening act for ‘Mono’, the legend post-rock band in Japan.

The album ‘I Miss You’ was clinched a nomination in branch of Best Instrumental Music of Season Award 2017.

In 2018, Hope the Flowers released a split album collaborated with Pleaides, a post-rock band from Taiwan. The title of this album was ‘Gates to Universe’ which were sold in both Thailand and Taiwan.
We had new members who were Job - Rangsiwaht Yamkasikorn (Bassist), the ex-bassist of ‘Withyouathome’ and ‘Handicat’ and also Chirs - Ekasit Tempornsatien to become a back up guitarist for Guide Chananan.

In 2019, we had 2 new members who were Meen - Puttida Saenjaibal (Trumpet, Violin) and Noey - Suchanya Wongwisnupong (Guitarist) to join our band.

1st EP. album, the concept of ‘Handmade Flowers’
It was created from Hon Narongrit’s emotion. The titles of these songs were stayed with the same emotional concept. He used only simple recording tools in form of bedroom studio and resulted in this EP. which were composed of 4 songs with quite Lo-fi sounds.

1st album, the concept of ‘Nature of Everything’
It brings listeners about the feeling of watching sakura blooming in spring, and snowfall in winter while listening to Japanese rhymes. It is the combination of the powerful rhythms with sweet melodies which were inspired by his musical experience and all of the components he loves, resulting an emotionally touching instrumental compositions of post-rock.

Single CD, ‘Into the Parallel’
The first storyline of ‘I Miss You’ is about the parallel world between a boy and a girl in the late night which represents a woman’s feeling.

2nd album, the concept ‘I Miss You’ (Thailand & Japanese Edition Package)
The story of ‘I Miss You’ represents the feelings of a man and a woman. The whole story is divided into 2 parts, the first part (in first 4 songs) represents a man's feeling and the others represent a woman’s. The sound of this album is arranged in different 2 ways, the heavy rhythms and the beautiful melodies.

3rd split album, the concept of ‘Gates of Universe’ (Thailand x Taiwan Post-rock band)
It is the collaboration of ‘Hope the Flowers’ from Thailand with ‘昴宿 Pleiades’ from Taiwan. The point of this album is to exchange musical cultures which are like the gates that connect 2 different dimensions of each country together.

Hope the flowers คือวงที่เริ่มต้นจากการทำงานคนเดียวของ Narongrit Ittipolnavakul ด้วยการอัดดนตรีทุกอย่างด้วยตนเอง โดยวางคอนเสปต์ไว้ว่า เป็นวงที่จะเล่นเพลงบรรเลงที่มีความหนักแน่นของริทึ่มและความสวยงามของเมโลดี้ ผสมผสานกันไป และจึงได้ชักชวนเพื่อนๆร่วมเป็นสมาชิกจนกลายเป็นวง Hope the flowers จนถึงปัจจุบัน

ครั้งแรกที่คิดทำโปรเจ็คนี้ขึ้นมา เพราะชื่นชอบหลงใหลในความสวยงามของดอกซากุระ และหิมะที่ล่วงหล่นลงมา เวลาได้ดูในภาพยนตร์ หรือภาพต่างๆ เลยรู้สึกจินตนาการไปว่า ถ้าเราทำเพลงขึ้นมา อยากให้คนที่ได้ฟัง เหมือนได้กลิ่นไอความเป็นญี่ปุ่น เอเชียไปด้วย และชอบที่จะเรียบเรียงด้วยโน๊ตหวานๆ ที่ผสมกับความหนักหน่วงของริทึ่ม
จริงๆแล้ว ที่ตั้งใจไว้ตอนแรกอยากให้ดอกไม้แห่งความหวัง เป็นดนตรีสไตล์ Instrumental แต่ด้วยการที่เราชื่นชอบใน Post Rock เราคิดว่า เราเองก็น่าจะทำให้อยู่ในหมวดหมู่นี้ได้ เราอยากเปิดกว้าง เปิดพื้นที่ให้คนได้คิด และเข้าใจในความรู้สึกของเรา ที่กำลังสื่อออกไป ว่าจะมีคนเข้าใจในสิ่งที่เราสื่อไหม

เราเองก็เคยเหนื่อย เคยท้อ เคยหมดหวัง แต่หลังจากที่เราเริ่มทำ Hope the flowers มันคือสิ่งที่ทำให้เรามีความหวัง เหมือนกับดอกไม้ ที่กำลังเหี่ยวเฉา และมีชีวิตชีวา สีสัน กลิ่นหอม ขึ้นมาอีกครั้ง"
